INSPIRATION

I am so excited to introduce my first candle collection, “Skulls and Bows” featuring “My Heart”!

I incorporated several things that are important to me. I have always loved skulls. I find them beautiful and a wonderful reminder of our mortality. They remind me to treasure the small but meaningful moments in my life. These moments are also represented in the packaging. Who doesn’t love sitting outdoors at their favorite cafe/coffee house with a friend or a good book? Retail shopping is a great way to unwind from all of life’s stress. I’m an animal lover, so I had to represent that in the packaging. I love walking our chihuahua Mina with my husband around our neighborhood. I have long admired fashion designers, from Dior’s “New Look” to the unique designs of today. The “Skulls and Bows” collection features three lovely ladies. Each of them has their own personality and style. They represent the many sides of my life. Some days, I’m ready to conquer the world. Other days, my priorities are running errands throughout the day. We all need those chill days to leisurely walk the shops and forget about the world. I chose cobblestone streets because of my love of medieval villages/times, and I love a good English murder mystery set in the Cotswolds! The arrangements of the skulls in the windows remind me of Christmas. I love seeing the beautiful ornaments displayed in an uneven yet uniformed way in boutique windows.
